Environmental Commitment

Our Environmental Commitment
We share the same awe and respect for the wonder of our surroundings
that you will undoubtedly feel during your visit. With only forty-two
cabins and most of our activities occurring in small groups, every
effort is made to provide a quality guest experience while still
maintaining a low impact on this fragile land.
When visiting the Park surrounding the lodge, we carry with us a
concern for the wildlife and their natural habitat as well as a high
respect for Denali's rare and fragile ecosystems.
Two Dollars a Day for Conservation
Denali Backcountry Lodge contributes annually to Alaska-based non-profit
efforts for environmental protection. As a consumer, you can elect to
participate in our "Two Dollars A Day Program." Your voluntary
contribution of $2 per day of your trip with us can help support these
efforts working to preserve and protect the Denali National Park area.
All donations made to this program will be equally divided and passed
through to the following organizations:
- National Parks Conservation Association
- Alaska Wildlife Alliance
- Northern Alaska
