This is a beautiful hike through arctic tundra. It focuses on exploring and experiencing the very surface you will be walking on. Approximately, 700 feet in elevation gain can be expected, some of it by trails, some of it by untrodden tundra. Views of the Alaska Range, the Kantishna Hills and Moose Creek Valley are excellent. Walking through the tundra can be challenging, and as result, this hike will be about 3 miles in length. This hike will return to the Lodge at approximately 2:00PM.
